The new search stack needs operators.

Most of the team is from inside the SEO/AEO craft, not from AI Twitter. We're hiring people who've shipped, who've owned a number, who've sat with a customer. The work is doable; the responsibility is real.

Why here, why now

The craft is shifting.

You'll be in the room where the new playbook is written, not three years late reading about it on a blog.

Operators, not influencers.

Everyone has shipped real work. The vibes are unblocked Notion docs and pull requests, not threadbois.

Customer time, mandatory.

Every IC, including infra and research, sits in two customer calls a month. Insulation rots products.

Compensation, published.

Bands are public, by level, in the offer letter. No negotiation tax for being polite.

Health, fully covered.

Medical, dental, vision — 100% for you and dependents, US and EU equivalents.

4 weeks PTO, taken.

Minimum, not maximum. The CEO takes hers; you're expected to take yours.

How we hire

  1. Intro call (30m) — with a recruiter. We tell you what's true about the role.
  2. Craft conversation (60m) — with the hiring manager. Bring a recent piece of work, walk us through it.
  3. Working session (90m, paid) — a small, scoped problem from real work. Paid at $250.
  4. Two team conversations — peers and stakeholders. Mostly them telling you about the work.
  5. Offer (within a week) — comp band published, decision deadline you set.

No surprise leetcode. No "culture fit" loop. No vague rejections. If we say no, you'll get a paragraph about why.

Don't see your role?

Send a note anyway. Tell us what you'd own. We'll write back.
